Stop Short is the tough front running son of Group One winner and Group One producer NADEEM son of Redoute’s Choice.

He has had 7 starts for 1 win and 4 seconds for $31,305.00 in NSW.

His NSW maiden win was in a $27,000 race where he sat 3 wide with no cover the whole trip over 1000m and still proved too strong.

He has had two very strong 2nd placings in the NSW PROVINCIALS at Beaumont (Newcastle) where he led and was gutsy right to the line to be nosed out on both occasions over 1200m. In the last Beaumont outing he defeated the Chris Waller trained metro winner SUPER WILLIE who started favorite.

On pedigree he should get further. NIJINSKY’S daughter DANCING SHOW is the Dam of HURRICANE SKY and the 2nd Dam of REDOUTE”S CHOICE and the two are closely related with both winning at Group One Level over the mile. Hurricane Sky also won over 1800m at G2 level sitting up on the speed.

Group One winner DANNI MARTINE who won the Coolmore Classic over 1500m is sister NAUGHT, 2nd Dam of STOP SHORT giving more faith he will get further.

He has run over 1200m twice and has shown his quality in both runs and gives the impression he could run a strong 1400m and possibly further . He definitely has plenty of upside.

He has only had 7 starts and with his toughness and tenacity has plenty of wins in him. Already he will be a Metro Performer in some regions and if he runs a strong 1400+ he could be a Metro Performer anywhere.
