This METRO WIN showed his CLASS. He was ridden hard from the gates to the lead and set a strong tempo. He ran a 10.39 sec 200m sectional from the 600m-400m and kicked clear in the straight with the Hawkes trained MAWAHIBB challenging on his outside. STEEP dug deep and proved to strong, running a last 600 of 33.29 and only 1.3 seconds outside the track record.
