She’s GOT IT ALL! PEDIGREE, LOOKS and TEMPERAMENT

Larking is the good looking daughter of 5 Time Group One champion miler STARCRAFT, who won at the ELITE level as a 3yo, 4yo and 5yo.

She is the second foal of Lago Ovation, who’s first foal, Valyrian Steel sold for $500,000 as a yearling with a race record of 5:2-1-2, with both wins as a 3yo. He has since been sold overseas.

In type she definitely resembles her Dam Sire ENCOSTA DE LAGO, who has blessed us with greats such as SACRED KINGDOM, ALINGHI, RACING TO WIN and CHAUTAUQUA to name a few.

She had her first start on the 13/04 at Balaklava where she raced very greenly on a rock hard track. She showed good promise in the run and you can easily see the potential this girl has.

Larking showed good speed in her Morphettville trial. Her photos were taken on the 30th of March, a week after the trial and show she still has plenty of condition. (go to www.royalbloodstock.com.au to watch her trial)

Her pedigree tells us she will be a 3yo+ who should be at her best from 1400 to a mile.

The Nureyev / Fairy Bridge cross, (both siblings of the legendary broodmare Special) has produced more than 60 Group One Winners and is a successful combination in broodmares which will add to her value after racing.

She currently weighs around 520kgs and stands at 15.3hh, maturing to 16 hands +.

South Australian Metro trainer Jon O’Connor said this Filly will make nice 3yo and I would be more than happy to continue Training her and take a share, she’s progressing nicely and in his opinion will continue to improve with time.
