Kirribilli Kid is a 4yo mare by Group One Winner Duporth. Her dam Modellastic is by Group One Winner Danasinga, son of DANEHILL and FIVE TIME stakes producer PRINCESS TRACY. She stands approx 15.3 and is well put together.

She has two 3rd placings from 7 starts plus a ROSEHILL TRIAL WIN, and no doubt has talent.

Watching her runs she gives the definite impression she will get further. In her second last start at Armidale, on a Heavy 9, she was allowed to settle in to her own rhythm and was not pressured too much from the gates. Once rounding the turn she found clear running and finished strong making good ground on the line to miss by less than a length. This style of racing will win her races.

You can put a line through her last start over 1400m. From the widest gate (barrier 14), she was ridden out and jumped on terms with the leaders, and couldn’t find a position so was pulled back to the rear. She raced back and wide for the entire race and was widest entering the straight.

Her dam did some of her best racing over 1600m and 2100m and there is every chance this girl is similar. She has shown that she can come with a wet sail if not spent early and should win using this formula.

As an added benefit she seems to love the wet and should be a great candidate to pick up the easy money that can be up for grabs in these conditions.
