GERTRUDE is the 5yo daughter of USA Group One winner HONOR IN WAR who raced in Australia at the end of his career winning the Group 2 Villiers Handicap as a 9yo.

She is from the winning mare SHIRMAL by DESERT KING, producer of Champions MAKYBE DIVA and DESERT WAR.

Gertrude’s Female Line has been a prolific Group One producer over the years with quality such as HIGH CHAPARRAL, ANABAA, FORTY NINER, TEOFILO, ZOFFANY, AMERICAIN, SKY HIGH, FLIGHT and HEROIC to name a few.

Unfortunately due to a tendon issue Gertrude is unable to race.
