DIAMOND RACER is the 6yo daughter of EXCITES out of the MOSSMAN mare CUBANA MOSS from the family of RED DAZZLER.

She is a winner over 1600m & 1800m with 10 placings from 1350m to 2020m, the latter at Doomben with earnings of $38,525.

Her best run this prep was over 1800m on the 1st of July in a 20k race at Mackay after 3 weeks between runs, coming off a 7 day backup prior. Here she was ridden quietly on the fence and put into the race at the 600 hitting the front at the 200 and was nabbed late.

She may even get further based on her 2200m run at the Gold Coast where she was ridden upside down and sent forward after being caught wide yet fought on strongly in the straight only beaten 3 lengths.

DIAMOND RACER clearly looks best when allowed to settle and does possess a good sharp sprint, especially when fresh.

As a Broodmare after racing she is 3×3 SUCCESS EXPRESS and 3×4 DANEHILL a combination that has helped produce G1 winners such as SEA SIREN, GOLD EDITION, GLOBAL GLAMOUR and SHAMUS AWARD.
