DAYBREAKER is the BOBS 3yo son of LONHRO from the multiple Vic Metro winning mare SWEETNESS ‘N LIGHT.

He is a quality individual as you would expect looking at his Pedigree. A half to Group 3 winner WEREGOINGTOGETCHA and the multiple Sydney Metro winner SWEET TALKIN WOMAN plus hailing from a family that includes 11 time G1 Winner LONHRO, LANKAN RUPEE, TAVAGO, NIELLO, GROSVENOR etc. etc.

His breeding clearly suggests he should stay, yet his best run to date is arguably his first up run over 1100m where he sat last and made very good ground late off a slow tempo.

His 3rd at Coffs Harbour over 1415m on a heavy was also a good run, again making good ground late after working through the field.

Daybreaker keeps hitting the line and probably needs to be put into the race a little earlier to take advantage of his toughness.
