She is a well put together Broodmare with 3 foals to date, 2 of which have been retained by the owner, who breeds to race.
Her first foal is a 3yo Gelding by Highland Reel with Phillip Stokes, who is nominated to race in a $60,000.00 Maiden Plate at MOONEE VALLEY on Friday after running 2nd in his first race start at Geelong.
She has a nice yearling colt by FIORENTE who is ticking all the boxes and is developing nicely, and a quality weanling filly by GHAIYYATH (Photo attached) who will be given every opportunity through either the Peter Moody or Phillip Stokes stables.
TAVISTOCK as a Broodmare Sire is already a Group 1 producer through the talented Mr Brightside, with his sire Bullbars a good pedigree match for Tavi Bay, along with numerous quality, affordable stallions.
She is a big, scopey mare, with a good disposition. No confirmation issues. She produces really nice foals, of a good size and with her temperament. She is easy to handle whether it be for vetting, farrier, drench or float. She has gone in foal off the first service for all 3 foals to date.
Tavi Bay stands 16:2 HH. She has a parrot mouth but does not pass it onto her foals.
