CANNON RUN is a lightly raced Sydney Provincial winner with 12 Starts for 2 wins over 1300m & 1500m and 3 seconds over 1300m & 1600m with earnings of $52,040.

He is extremely well bred being by the Great HIGH CHAPARRAL from the Sydney Metro winner JAMRAH a half sister to DASH FOR CASH.

In his first ever race start he defeated the quality mare REIBY RAMPART at her pet distance over 1300m at Hawkesbury and almost repeated that feat 1st up in his 2nd prep at Kembla Grange with a blistering finish for 2nd before his win over 1500m at Goulburn again launching from the rear.

Cannon Run was impressive competing at Sydney Metro level first up this prep running a fast finishing 4th to Godolphin’s talented 3yo MALAHAT over 1200m in quick time at his only attempt at the distance.

He is clearly a horse with great ability who has tremendous upside in a weaker region.
