BASKING is the 6yo daughter of Five Time Group One winner DUKE OF MARMALADE from the SNIPPETS mare LILLIANA.

She is a good sized mare standing 16.1hh who possessed a strong finish winning over 1020m with placings at 1600m 1800m and 2000m, Baskings career unfortunately finished early after having knee chips removed.

She is an exciting breeding prospect who does have real capacity to produce quality.

Mare pedigrees that have made Duke Of Marmalade a successful sire are very similar to that of 3rd Dam WEBER CITY MISS, a quality Group One winner, Track Record breaker and a Group One producer. This means the right stallion will draw on the quality that created both Weber City Miss and the top progeny of Duke Of Marmalade.

The pedigree is looking for stallions like those of High Chaparral’s son’s, So You Think, Dundeel, Toronado, Alpine Eagle, Monaco Consul etc. especially those with a Princequillo influence in their Dam Line.
