HONJO is the a well put together 3yo Son of REAL STEEL out of the FASTNET ROCK 2 x Winning Mare ASPEN SUMMIT. Sister to IRISH LIGHTS (dam of OMEI SWORD, JUST STEEL, LIPIZZANER – CALL ME TEDDY (H.K.)), Movie Role, Tropicana Lady (dam of BANANA QUEEN).

Honjo is half brother to talented 5 x Winning Galloper SOLAR APEX.

He has only had the 2 starts to date,

In his first start at BENDIGO in a strong maiden, he jumped well, but raced quite greenly.  He was also caught behind a wall of horses and wasn’t able to get clear running.  The jock sat up on him down the straight so it was not a fair assessment of his ability.

In his next start he didn’t jump and stayed in the gates for no reason.

He will suit someone willing to give him some barrier education.  He does need to trial twice before racing.

Honjo is Good to train, ride and handle.

He stands approximately 16hh and weighs approximately 490kgs.

DEEP CORE is by DEEP FIELD out of the nicely related ARTIE SCHILLER Winning Mare CHILLED ROSE. He comes from solid Blacktype Family including Top Australasian Galloper METAL BENDER!

He won impressively over 1200ms at Corowa 30/12 and the stable were very confident going into the run. Please see replay attached.

He has only had the 6 starts to date racing in the always competitive VIC and NSW Country region.

He last raced 22/01 at Albury where he got back and had to go wide, and although wasn’t beaten far, could have finished closer to the finish given the right run, in what was a competitive Class 1 race.

Post Roce stewards comments: “Deep Core – Was crowded shortly after jumping between Monaghan’s Boy and Wagunda. Raced

keenly throughout the middle stages.”

DEEP CORE is a horse with plenty of upside and if he lives up to expectations, will go through his grades and win plenty more races.

He stands at approx 15.3hh, has no known issues but has been seen to windsuck.

LUSCIOUS is a 4yo Daughter of FIGHTING SON out of the STATUE OF LIBERTY Mare Liberty Made. Luscious is three-quarter Sister to the dual Metropolitan Winning gelding FIGHTING HARADA.

LUSCIOUS ran a strong front running race last start to finish 3rd at Wagga, please see replay attached.

In 3 of her last 4 starts she has finished in the top 4 and is knocking on the door for her 2nd win!

She has been racing in the always competitive NSW South/West Region and rarely puts in a bad run!

She has won over 1200ms and does her best racing from 1000m to 1300ms
