LAKOTA SIOUX is the 5yo son of ELVSTROEM from the RORY’S JESTER mare MISS FIREBALL.

He is a 3 time Provincial winner from 1200m to 1680m at Ipswich, Sunshine Coast and Gatton and does his best work when near the speed on the turn.

In his current prep he was given the opportunity to step up in distance after solid performances over 1700m and 1800m last December however it seems he more a sprinter / miler type based on those runs.

LAKOTA SIOUX’S 2nd up run over 1515m at the Ipswich Metro meeting this April was full of merit only beaten 2 lengths after being unable to find a position from a wide gate. He made a mid race move to sit 3 wide outside the leaders at the 600 in a gutsy performance that should have seen him finish a long last.
