ROYAL GUN SALUTE has shown he is a versatile galloper who can race on any surface and can come from anywhere in the field. He has done his best work so far from 1200m to 1400ms.

In NSW she Won impressively at Goulburn over 1300ms four starts back, and two starts back she Won over 1200m carrying 64.5kgs.

He has had 1 win over 1700m and 3 placings 1600m to 1700m from 17 starts with 2 starts beyond 2000m where he was not far off them. He has won or placed on Good, Soft and Heavy going.
