HEY MICHAEL was an impressive WINNER at ALBURY over 1175m on the 13/05 3 starts back.

Last start over 1175m he went down less than half a length to run 2nd in a tough battle with the field spread out over 12 lengths at the finish.

He has WON and PLACED from GOOD to HEAVY showing he is a versatile galloper that can get through any conditions.

Hey Michael is an improving, young Galloper with plenty of racing ahead of him.

He is in full work so you could continue on with him or give him a let up or spell and he will only improve with maturity.

This well put together 3yo Daughter of SHOOTING TO WIN is half to Stakes placed COMMISSIONER and is the granddaughter of Group 2 Winner REGAL CHAMBER, Dam of Group 1 Winner REGAL CHEER and Talented Blacktype Galloper KNOYDART.

ROYAL SHOT has only had the 4 Starts in NSW to date up against some handy up and coming Gallopers.

Not to make excuses but her first two starts you could really put a line through.

In her first race over 900ms, she jumped wide and stayed extremely wide throughout the race and deserved to be out sprinted to the line, and her 2nd run wasn’t any better. Over 1205m from the outside barrier, she jumped with them out wide but couldn’t get cover so was taken back to near last but still had no cover.

Her 2nd last start at GOULBURN was an improved run over 1300ms in a race dominated by Sydney Metro Trained Gallopers.

Royal Shot went into her last run with the Stable having high hopes based on her work but unfortunately she didn’t live up to her trackwork in the run. She may have been having an off day or could be looking for a spell as the stable didn’t find anything wrong with her.

Royal Shot has previously trialed 3 times at Sydney Metro Level when in training with Gary Portelli and showed promise

She has only had the 6 starts to date, where she ran 2nd to talented 3x winner LONDON RULER over 1110ms and 4th over 1400ms in her only two starts on a GOOD track.

She hasn’t been disgraced in her other runs but she definitely appreciates a good surface.

PRESS FREEDOM is good to handle, shoe and float. She is in the middle of a 2 week let up and will continue racing if not sold prior.
