ARMS RACE is the BOBS 3yo Gelding by SMART MISSILE from the ZABEEL Mare ZABY ZABY a half to 3 time Group One winner TYCOON LIL.

He is the full brother to the Waterhouse / Bott trained BATTLE FURY who also looks a middle distance performer as is the talented EXOCET who is bred on the same Smart Missile x Zabeel cross.

ARMS RACE’s first race start over 1300m was full of merit where he rattled home from last to finish 3rd. His 1st up and 2nd up performances at Kembla and Goulburn this prep over 1600m also showed he has the quality to take advantage of the BOBS BONUS in a weaker region of NSW.

The fact he had impressed the stable enough that he was given the opportunity to race at Sydney Metro level in his 3rd up run at Warwick Farm is also a great positive. Unfortunately the run was disappointing for connections after being trapped wide towards the rear in a race dominated by front runners.
