FLY FORWARD is the Sydney Metro performed Provincial Winning son of CHARGE FORWARD from a half to talented sprinter and sire JET SPUR.

From his 24 starts he is a 3 time winner from 1100m to 1350m with 8 placings 1000m to 1400m and earnings of $94,450.

His best run to date was at Wyong over 1350m and shows just how much ability this gelding really has. He was sent to the lead from a wide gate and set a solid tempo, proving far too strong in the straight for his classy opposition running 1:18.69 with a 34.31 last 600. The time was almost one second faster than the additional 2 starts over 1350m on the day (including the 150k Provincial Championship Qualifier) won by NOBLE JOEY & SIREN’S FURY, both quality Metro winners.

In addition FLY FORWARD has been competitive at Metro Grade against quality opposition such as 4 time Sydney winner BRATISLAVA where he ran a good 4th making ground late after sitting worse than mid field in the run.

Although his recent performances have been below his best the stable have been unable to pinpoint his issues and he may be simply looking for a change in scenery or a step back in grade.
