GENERAL SUSSEX is the 5yo son of DUPORTH from a very strong family who started his racing career in NZ and ran against Group One winner XTRAVAGANT before being sent to Victoria where he placed over 1400m & 1600m before traveling to Tasmainia.

From his 7 starts this prep he placed over 1000m,1200m, 1400m before winning his maiden over 1600m making a strong run from back in the field. In his last start he was dropped back to 1350m and was very strong late to miss by less than a length.

General Sussex is a talented sit sprint type who handles Good Soft and the Synthetic surfaces and based on his current prep has plenty of upside and earning potential.
