DANTE PIERRO is the 3yo son of Champion Triple Crown Winner PIERRO from the 1600m Listed winning mare OUR DANCING BABE.

He was purchased at the 2016 Melbourne Premier Sale for $80,000 and as his yearling photo shows was very similar in type to his sire at the same age.

DANTE PIERRO had 2 Flemington jump outs prior to his Pakenham run where it was expected he would race forward from the inside barrier however soon after jumping did not look comfortable on the synthetic surface and did not stretch out with the jockey sitting up on him in the straight.

At this stage he is not up to his Owner’s expectation as they are wanting strong METROPOLITAN CLASS Gallopers
